Adult Ministries Spring "SOULED-OUT" Series
“Effective Parenting in a Defective World”
In this day and age, children face a far more defective world than the children of previous decades. Everyday they are bombarded with the pressures and influences of drugs, sex and violence. Parents are left helpless, as every godly principle they teach their children is contradicted by the corrupt principles of this defective world. But the truth is, God has a plan for effectively raising your children and you can learn it.
With penetrating truth, Chip Ingram shares the life lessons from his personal experience of raising 4 children. He describes his failures and the challenges of teenage rebellion. And he teaches the principles for successful parenting as revealed through God’s Word.
This is a video series with accompanying workbook and it will begin at 5:00 pm on Sunday evenings, starting Feb. 14th, here at Lighthouse. Sign-ups and books will be available in the LCC foyer starting January 31st.
“Experiencing God”
Most Bible studies help people; this one changes them forever. Experiencing God was written 20 years ago, but it’s just as powerful today as is was when it first came out. Even more so in this present age when it seems so hard to discern the will of God for our day to day lives. If you’re desiring a deeper and more meaningful experience from your walk with God, if you’re suffering from a broken life and just can’t seem to see God’s will for you, if you’re standing bewildered and overwhelmed about which way to head for true joy and fulfillment in joining God in His work, then this is the study for you.
This, a 12 week course by Henry Blackaby, begins 5:00 pm Sunday evening, Feb. 14th here at Lighthouse. Sign-ups and books will be available in the LCC foyer starting January 31st .
“The Restoration Of A Sinner”
David is known as Israel’s greatest kink, and he was renowned for his courage. But David was not a superhero. He had to fight many battles, personal and otherwise, to establish his throne. The Restoration of a Sinner by John MacArthur, takes an in-depth look at David’s tragic struggle with friends, his enemies, his family and his kingdom to become Israel’s consummate monarch.
This is a 12 week, in-depth study into the history, character and key principles surrounding a man after God’s own heart, but a man with issues as well. This course begins 5:00 pm Sunday evening, Feb. 14th here at Lighthouse. Sign-ups and books will be available in the LCC foyer starting January 31st .

Hi, my name is Craig and I am the Adult Ministries Pastor here at Lighthouse. Allow me to take just a minute and tell you about the ministries we offer for adults.
We offer what we call "Community Groups", which are small gatherings of anywhere between 8 to 20 people, who meet in homes or at the church, for the purpose of growing spiritually and developing relationships with one another. Some groups meet weekly and others every other week. The meeting days and times are determined by each individual group, depending on schedules. Aside from our Community Groups, we also offer a care ministry, which exists to care for the needs of the church body. We strive to attend to the various needs of our people by coming along side of them and allowing God to use us to be a part of meeting their physical, emotional, relational, financial and spiritual needs.
One of the ministries that God has used to change many lives through is a ministry called CELEBRATE RECOVERY. This is a ministry designed for people who are struggling with addictions, emotional struggles or just trying to rid themselves of dysfunctional behaviors and attitudes. This program is based on 8 biblical principals taught by Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount, and the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer this ministry at various times throughout the calendar year.
Our Men’s ministry is for all men, post-high school and up. On a regular basis, we have large group meetings and accountability groups. We also have monthly events that are relation building like: fishing trips, barbeques, summer golf league, Promise Keeper events, district retreats and much more. While this ministry is far from being fully developed, we are striving to make it a more well-rounded ministry, because we know how important it is to reach and equip men.
Our Women’s Ministry is also for all women, post-high school and up. On a regular basis we have Bible studies, mentoring programs, monthly and annual events, Secret Sisters, and we attend conferences and retreats.
