We have just learned that my husband Nick has cancer of the bile duct. We will be traveling to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN next week for additional tests and to determine the best course of action. We don't know how long we'll need to stay in Rochester or what to expect at this point. Since we live and work in Des Moines this will make circumstances even more difficult. Please pray for us during this difficult time. Thank you.

My husband Nick and I attend LCC regularly and ask for your prayers regarding his health. Recently Nick has undergone several medical tests and doctors have found a growth in Nick's bile duct. He's scheduled for additional tests to determine if the growth is cancerous. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Daisy Parkins is the mother of John Parkins. She was admitted to Mercy Hospital with a brain stem bleed Wednesday afternoon. She is in critical condition and the next 48 hours will determine her chances for survival. Doctors state the best thing we can do for her is pray as there is no surgical intervention. Family is requesting your support in prayer for Daisy.

I am asking that you please help me pray for my husband. I know he believes in Christ but has struggled the last few years with his relationship with Christ. He has been attending service with me but that is about as far it goes. I have been praying constantly that he will open his heart more and give it all to Him. The service last Sunday on the 4 Hearts I believe made him begin to think a little about where he is spiritually. Looking forward to this weeks service. Thanks Lighthouse!

Can you please have your congregation and yourself pray for me. I'm in a fight for my life, it is a horrific spiritual battle. This is a humble request for your prayers. Can you consider that my plight which is long term. Therefore can you keep in prayer add me to your prayer list, for the next year please. I know this is asking a lot. But I don't know what else to do but to seek out the prayers of other Saints. I attend your church each sunday, with my husband, who is not saved, I did not know that when i married him, he told me he was saved, went to church with me, and acted the part, two years ago, he told me that he does not believe in God, i have been in a whirl wind of emotions since then , today, i just dont want to be with him, i have tried so hard to make this work, i am tired, and weak, i just want my life with jesus back, please help me believe for strength, and wisdom in what i need to do, I feel trapped, and incredibly lonely.
