Our small group ministry consists of what we call Life Groups. Life Groups are small gatherings of men and women who come together on a regular basis in order to learn, love, serve and live out life together. These are an essential element in becoming involved here at Lighthouse. These groups form through introductory gatherings here at the church, church fellowship events and Life Group facilitators making personal invitations for their respective groups or simply by people making a natural connection with others in the church body. Once a Life Group is formed, it’s registered with our Adult Ministry Pastor and the group will have access to Life Group projects, events, studies and other resources. The goal of the life group is to grow and develop into a reproducing discipleship team by making sure that the group is continually maturing in areas of the head, heart, hands and their relationships with one another. As they walk this path, together, they come to a deeper understanding of who God is and what He desires, they feel the presence of God in their lives as they serve Him and each other, and build lasting friendships that offer trust, accountability, encouragement and a deeper sense of who they are and how they fit into God’s grand design.

Some groups meet weekly and others every other week. The meeting days and times are determined by each individual group, depending on schedules. In addition to our Life Groups, we also offer semi-annual spiritual and leadership development teaching, Care Ministry, Men's and Women's Ministries as well as events and specialty groups that come together to help meet both the physical and spiritual needs of a lost world, our community and neighborhoods around us. When the circumstances and the Spirit of God calls us we desire to be there.

Jesus reminds us in John 13:35 that the world will know that we belong to Him by how we love one another, he also instructs us that this same quality is in the top 2 of the greatest commandments that we possess, topped only by loving God with all that we are. The Adult Ministry here at Lighthouse believes that how we live and love towards one another is a reflection of how we live and love towards our Creator, so our ministries are designed with “one another” and our Creator in mind.
